Betty Zhou
Betty Zhou is a female Chinese actress, an artiste who returned after being overseas in Singapore; she is also a bilingual basketball host and anchor. Betty Zhou graduated from the Xie Jin Film & Television Art College of Shanghai Normal University. A performing arts undergraduate, Betty began developing her career in Singapore since 2007; with her pleasing good-looks and her aptitude in various languages, she quickly got invitations for roles in both Chinese and English local Singaporean productions. At the same time, she also picked up some projects hosting on some satellite TV programs. In 2007 and in 2012, she took part in two Hollywood action films, and this has helped her enrich her experiences in respect of overseas film maker exposure.
Since returning to China in 2011, Betty continues to work towards a personal breakthrough. With her advantage and laid-back style, she began her foray as a bilingual host. Currently, her work as the weekly internet-only basketball programs host, and as a live correspondent on the grounds for the NBA finals in the United States, she is referred to affectionately as "China's Prettiest Bilingual Basketball Anchorwoman and Interpreter". With the advantages of her bilingual capabilities, and lively hosting style, she quickly became the most sought-after bilingual anchorwoman.
